First Look Friday - January 19

Preview Day for Marine Trade, Media, and the Public

 

The official opening day of the 66th Toronto International Boat Show!

First Look Friday will provide an opportunity for exhibitors to unveil new products to the media, re-connect with others in the industry, and ready their staff/sales team for the opening weekend crowds. The boating public are welcome to attend the show on this day and get one-on-one access to salespeople and product specialists.

First Look Friday will highlight the opportunity for Marine Trade, Media & Public to Preview the Show ahead of the General Admission opening on Saturday.

A portion of ticket admission on First Look Friday will be donated to the show’s partner charities.

First Look Friday tickets can be purchased in advance, or on-site at the box office.

Advance ticket purchasers whose plans change closer to the show, will be able to use their e-ticket on a general admission day instead, if necessary. These tickets will be valid any one day, January 19 – 28, 2024.

General Driving Routes

From the East

Take the Gardiner Expressway west to the Spadina/Lake Shore Boulevard cutoff and follow the signs for Lake Shore Boulevard. Then take Lake Shore Boulevard to the Princes' Gates (just west of Strachan Avenue).

From the West

Take the Gardiner Expressway east to Lake Shore Boulevard. Then stay on Lake Shore Boulevard East. There are three entrance points (at traffic lights) to Exhibition Place from Lake Shore Boulevard: British Columbia Drive; Ontario Drive; and Newfoundland Drive.

From Pearson International Airport

Exit 427 south to Gardiner Expressway East. Then take the Gardiner Expressway east to Lake Shore Boulevard. There are three entrance points (at traffic lights) to Exhibition Place from Lake Shore Boulevard: British Columbia Drive; Ontario Drive; and Newfoundland Drive.

From City Centre Airport

Take Bathurst Street north to Lake Shore Boulevard West. Then take Lake Shore Boulevard West, and drive through the Princes' Gates (just west of Strachan Avenue), or turn north onto Fort York Road, and west at the lights onto Strachan Avenue into Exhibition Place.

 

Parking

Parking is available on Exhibition Place grounds, surface lots and the Enercare indoor garage.

Underground Parking and Surface Lots: 

Wheelchair Accessible Parking

Exhibition Place provides over a hundred and forty wheelchair accessible parking spaces throughout its surface parking lots and indoor garage. All spaces are located near the entrances to the lots and/or close to the pedestrian access points to buildings and event space . Regular parking rates apply.

Hybrid Vehicle Parking Spaces

A total of 23 parking spaces are provided exclusively for energy efficient hybrid electric/gasoline vehicles. These preferred spaces are located in majority of the lots including the indoor garage, in close proximity to the wheelchair accessible spaces. The preferred location of the hybrid spaces recognizes the contribution that owners are making towards lowering emissions, and the use of the spaces is left to the discretion of drivers. Regular parking rates apply.

Courtesy Parking

A total of 42 courtesy parking spaces are provided throughout the grounds including the indoor garage for patrons requiring assistance (no permit required) near an entrance without the use of an elevator.  These spaces could be used for a parent with small children, injury, etc. Regular parking rates apply.

Electric Charging Stations

The indoor Enercare Centre has 5 Charging Stations with 8 parking spaces dedicated for Electric Vehicles. Charge your vehicle while visiting the show. These stations are located (2) on the north side by Hall A & D and (3) located on the south side by Hall A, B & D

 Alternative travel to the show: Take the TTC, GO Train and UP Express from Pearson to downtown.
